STEP 1
CONTACT SMSMODE©

STEP 2
GET A FACEBOOK ID

A Facebook Id corresponds to a Facebook Business account. This account will allow you to access and manage WhatsApp Business messaging functionality.

Warning: You cannot use a number that has already been associated with a WhatsApp account, or has never been tested by WhatsApp. In this case, we can provide you with one through our Virtual Number Rental service.

Create your Facebook Business account

Une fois, votre Facebook Business ainsi créé, doit être <strong class="color-green">approuvé par Facebook.</strong> Cette validation peut prendre 1 semaine au minimum.
You will receive the validation notification directly on the Facebook Business Manager dashboard of your account.

STEP 3
FILL IN YOUR COMPANY PROFILE

Once your account has been created, you will need to fill in your company profile. You will need to fill in the following information:

  • <strong class="color-green">Nom de l’entreprise :</strong> Ce nom sera visible par l’utilisateur final.
    Warning: you will not be able to change it later.
    View the guidelines on the company name
  • <strong class="color-green">À propos :</strong> Ce texte est diffusé sur votre profil WhatsApp et doit contenir au maximum 139 caractères.
  • <strong class="color-green">Description de l’entreprise :</strong> Ce texte doit contenir au maximum 256 caractères.
  • <strong class="color-green">Adresse :</strong> Ce champs doit contenir le nom de la rue, le numéro, le code postal, la ville et l’état, avec un maximum de 256 caractères.
  • <strong class="color-green">URL de l’image de marque :</strong> L’image, hébergée sur votre propre serveur ou un service d’hébergement en ligne, doit être sous forme “carrée” (sinon elle sera tronquée automatiquement par WhatsApp), doit avoir comme dimension recommandée 500px x 500px ou 640px x 640px pour un poids maximum de 5 MB.

STEP 4
CONNECT THE WHATSAPP BUSINESS SMSMODE© API WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SOLUTION

In order to link the WhatsApp smsmode© API to your client solution, several elements are required:

  • a "Postman collection" file: This Postman test tool allows you to use the WhatsApp Business API using the examples provided in this Postman collection file.

These elements allow you to implement WhatsApp Business messaging in your client solution.

<strong class="color-green">3. Les Webhook URLs</strong>
In order for you to receive WhatsApp messages and receipt notifications on your client solution, you must provide us with the webhook URLs (callback URLs) that we set up in your smsmode© API account.

Once you have completed this step, you can carry out a test phase before going into production.

STEP 5
PRODUCTION OF THE WHATSAPP BUSINESS ACCOUNT

This is an important step where the entire Facebook Business account creation process is approved and makes your WhatsApp Business account fully operational.

To do this, an OTP SMS is sent to the number associated with your account in order to validate the number that has been provided.

GET YOUR TEMPLATES VALIDATED

If you choose to communicate based on message templates (i.e., a conversation with your users initiated by yourself), each template must be pre-approved by WhatsApp.

To have your template validated, you must contact your smsmode© account manager and send him/her by email, according to the template provided by him/her, the content of this template to be submitted to Facebook services.

Validation of a model can take a minimum of 1 week.
